Kentucky State Bowfishing Records Program
The Kentucky State Bowfishing Records Program (KSBRP) was established to recognize trophy
rough fish taken by bowfishermen in Kentucky. This program is administered
by the United Bowhunters of Kentucky in partnership with the KDFWR's
Kentucky State Record Fish Program. Application forms and rules are
available on this site or may be requested by contacting Walt Kloeppel at
(270) 300-0392 or editorwalt@insightbb.com. Written requests may be sent to:
KSBRP
43 Wingate Dr
Brandenburg, KY 40108
A certified scale (required for state
records) is available for weighing by contacting the aforementioned contact.
Any certified legal for trade scale is acceptable as well and may be found
across the state at various locations such as grocery stores, feedmills,
tourism centers, and some bait & tackle shops. Read the complete KSBRP ruling
